KAPITAL is hiring a Senior Legal Recruiter for its Bengaluru office to support recruitment for US clients. This full-time role follows US EST working hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST), Monday through Friday. The position focuses on full-cycle US legal recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding of attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, compliance professionals, contract managers, legal operations specialists, and other legal talent across law firms and corporate legal departments.
The Senior Legal Recruiter will develop and execute recruitment strategies for US legal hiring, source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Monster, Clockwork, and JobDiva, partner with hiring managers and clients to understand staffing requirements, build and maintain a strong pipeline of legal professionals, ensure an exceptional candidate experience, and consistently achieve recruitment targets. The role includes key performance metrics such as two internal submissions per day, one client submission per day, one end-client interview per week, monthly placement bookings of $20K GP, quarterly placement bookings of $60K GP, and maintaining $60K GP of monthly billing or 6–10 billable consultants.
Candidates should possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a strong LinkedIn profile and legal talent network, a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred), and 3–10 years of experience in US legal recruitment with expertise in contract and full-time hiring. Strong knowledge of US employment types (C2C, W2, 1099), US work authorization and visa categories (H-1B, H-4 EAD, Green Card, Green Card EAD, TN Visa, etc.), and proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Monster, Clockwork, and JobDiva are required. Experience with a KAPITAL competitor in legal staffing will be highly preferred.
