Acro Service Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused HR Specialist to support its North American Corporate Human Resources team. This is a full-time, direct-hire, in-office position reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer. The role primarily supports unemployment claims administration, employment verification requests, and Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) reporting while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Support unemployment claims administration by gathering employment history, documentation, and relevant facts.
β’ Review employee records, separation details, disciplinary documentation, attendance records, and related information.
β’ Prepare timely and accurate responses to unemployment claim requests and related inquiries.
β’ Represent the company during unemployment telephone hearings when required.
β’ Coordinate with HR team members, managers, and stakeholders to collect required information.
β’ Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential unemployment claim records.
β’ Respond to Verification of Employment requests in line with company policies.
β’ Track and report Verification of Employment activities.
β’ Support Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) reporting by coordinating with the company's vendor.
β’ Review vendor-provided WOTC reports for accuracy, completeness, and trends.
β’ Assist with HR data entry, reporting, record management, and administrative activities.
β’ Provide responsive HR support while meeting strict deadlines.
β’ Support additional HR projects and perform other HR-related responsibilities as assigned.
