Role Overview
iMerit is seeking a highly energetic HR Manager for Employee Engagement who will lead and manage the engagement portfolio and the connected team. The professional will play a key role in the development and implementation of engagement strategies, best practice guidelines, and supporting critical change initiatives. The role also encompasses employer branding efforts, participation in HR awards, and partnering with the marketing team on HR communication strategies. The individual will guide senior internal stakeholders, oversee regular internal communications, intranet platforms, newsletters, employee surveys, reward schemes, and major engagement events.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver end-to-end internal employee engagement plans and campaigns designed to inspire and connect workforce teams.
Support senior leaders in communication efforts to keep their functions informed of regular business updates and changes in transparent and impactful ways.
Lead the development and execution of a global engagement and communications calendar, ensuring all activities are delivered on schedule.
Execute HR engagement initiatives while managing the team to achieve set objectives, balancing leadership with hands-on individual contribution whenever required.
Develop, execute, and evaluate comprehensive internal communications strategies aligned with corporate objectives and people-related milestones.
Partner with global HR leadership, regional HR business partners, and senior executives to craft clear, open, and impactful employee messages.
Drive a listening culture across all regions by establishing continuous feedback mechanisms and touchpoints.
Lead employee experience communications spanning performance management, talent development, career pathways, and overall employee wellbeing.
Project manage the deployment and ongoing administration of a new global intranet platform and internal social media channels as a central communications hub.
Co-lead the design, rollout, and administration of bi-annual employee engagement surveys.
Translate survey data into meaningful insights, communicate findings to key organizational leaders, and build actionable improvement roadmaps.
Foster cross-functional relationships across global distributed locations to ensure employees stay connected, valued, and empowered to voice feedback.
Track, evaluate, and present employee engagement analytics and qualitative metrics to key stakeholders through structured reporting.
Design, launch, and manage robust rewards and recognition frameworks that cultivate high performance, morale, and appreciation.
Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors and partners supporting employee engagement tools and initiatives.
Contribute to broader organization development priorities and special strategic HR projects as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
Specialized academic education in Human Resources or Psychology.
Proven track record and substantial experience driving employee engagement initiatives.
Deep understanding of employee engagement frameworks, organizational psychology, and industry best practices.
Experience working within medium to large matrixed corporate structures, with added value from fast-paced high-growth or startup ecosystems.
Strong communication and interpersonal diplomacy with the ability to influence and consult with senior leadership.
Cross-functional collaboration skills to build effective partnerships across organizational departments.
Cultural sensitivity with a strong commitment to workplace diversity, inclusion, and individual growth.
Results-driven approach with a proactive mindset focused on measurable operational and cultural improvements.
