Role Overview
cdmon India is looking for an experienced, mature, and dependable HR Business Partner (HRBP) / HR Manager to independently take charge of the entire Human Resources function for its growing Indian operations. Based on-site at Tech Zone-IV in Greater Noida, this is an execution-focused, strategic role suited for a seasoned HR professional who is comfortable working directly with leadership, local employees, and external stakeholders. The professional will play an integral part in building robust people processes, establishing workplace structure, enabling business growth, and fostering a disciplined, high-performance culture. As part of a lean and growing Indian arm of an established European IT enterprise, the manager will hold complete ownership across the employee lifecycle from recruitment through onboarding, performance appraisal cycles, employee relations, and separation formalities.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering and Strategic Alignment
Independently manage and direct the comprehensive HRBP function across Indian operations.
Partner closely with corporate leadership and local management to align people initiatives directly with core business objectives.
Act as an accessible, trusted bridge connecting organizational leadership and employees.
Build and sustain a structured, disciplined, professional, and growth-centric workplace atmosphere.
Provide practical, well-analyzed advisory support and operational HR solutions to department leaders on diverse workforce challenges.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
Direct and manage the full cycle of talent acquisition across diverse technology and operational profiles.
Collaborate with department heads to forecast manpower needs, draft role profiles, and design hiring criteria.
Partner with external recruitment agencies, executive search consultants, and specialized talent vendors when required.
Manage resume screening, technical assessments, multi-round interview logistics, compensation negotiations, offer rollouts, and pre-joining engagements.
Design and conduct seamless onboarding programs and company orientation sessions to integrate new hires smoothly.
Employee Lifecycle Management
Oversee every phase of the employee journey including joining, induction, probation tracking, performance reviews, and confirmations.
Drive regular employee engagement initiatives tailored to a focused, growing technology office environment.
Facilitate open communication forums, regular skip-level discussions, and individual career development conversations.
Supervise exit procedures, conduct objective exit interviews, complete separation paperwork, and evaluate retention trends.
Maintain systematic, secure, and up-to-date digital and physical employee files and official personnel records.
HR Operations and Administrative Oversight
Develop, refine, and enforce clear organizational HR policies, standard operating procedures, and employment guidelines.
Oversee attendance capture, leave management protocols, and employee master data tracking.
Coordinate monthly attendance inputs and workforce records for timely payroll administration.
Identify operational bottlenecks and lead the modernization and digitization of internal HR workflows.
Act as the primary coordinator between internal teams, leadership, and external regulatory or support agencies.
Employee Relations and Cultural Development
Promote a collaborative, respectful, safe, and productive corporate workplace.
Investigate and resolve employee grievances, interpersonal conflicts, and operational concerns with strict impartiality and confidentiality.
Manage disciplinary mechanisms and uphold professional workplace ethics and organizational standards.
Plan and implement targeted employee engagement activities, team-building exercises, and cultural events.
Performance Management and Organizational Structuring
Coordinate end-to-end performance appraisal cycles, goal-setting exercises, and periodic progress reviews.
Assist executive management with workforce planning, role mapping, and organizational design adjustments.
Analyze operational human resource metrics to identify process gaps and implement practical remedies.
Drive internal programs that boost workforce productivity, accountability, and operational efficiency.
Statutory Compliance and Confidentiality
Ensure all company HR operations and documentation align strictly with Indian labor laws and corporate compliance standards.
Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding executive decisions, employee details, and proprietary organizational data.
Enforce internal governance protocols, data protection standards, and workplace safety guidelines.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum of 10 plus years of core Human Resources experience with strong, demonstrated depth in an HRBP capacity.
Proven capability to independently manage all facets of human resources within an organization without requiring layered supervision.
Hands-on expertise across talent acquisition, HR operations, employee relations, lifecycle administration, and performance management.
Direct experience working as an advisor to senior executive management and global leadership teams.
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication capabilities with strong negotiation skills.
Demonstrated conflict-resolution, grievance-handling, and problem-solving abilities.
High personal integrity, dependability, and maturity in managing delicate workforce issues.
Strong organizational capabilities with a meticulous, process-driven approach to data and documentation.
Experience working within small-to-medium enterprises, international corporate environments, European organizational cultures, or fast-growing IT and technology firms is highly preferred.
