Role Overview
The company is looking for an experienced Plant HR Manager to manage end-to-end HR operations at its manufacturing facility in Noida Sector 88. The position carries total responsibility for plant-level recruitment, strategic manpower planning, payroll execution, statutory compliance, adherence to labor laws, employee relations, attendance administration, performance management, and overall factory HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end plant HR operations and guarantee smooth execution of the complete employee lifecycle from entry to exit.
Handle plant-level talent acquisition and recruitment for workers, plant operators, support staff, supervisors, and diverse factory positions.
Plan comprehensive manpower requirements in close coordination with Production heads and allied department managers.
Oversee joining formalities, onboarding schedules, induction, employee documentation, confirmations, job transfers, promotions, and separation processes.
Administer attendance registers, shift rotations, overtime logs, leave policies, weekly offs, and day-to-day workforce attendance data.
Coordinate and verify monthly payroll processing, covering attendance data, overtime payouts, production incentives, statutory deductions, salary advances, and full and final settlements.
Ensure comprehensive compliance with all applicable labor laws, industrial regulations, and statutory mandates.
Manage processes for PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Contract Labour regulations, and Factory Act compliance.
Maintain and update statutory registers, employee physical and digital files, industrial licenses, mandatory notices, and legal compliance documentation.
Liaise directly with external consultants, government labor authorities, statutory auditors, and factory inspectors.
Address employee grievances, disciplinary matters, absenteeism trends, workplace misconduct, and foster healthy industrial and employee relations.
Implement and enforce corporate HR policies, workplace rules, and administrative operating procedures at the plant level.
Manage contract labor agencies and vendor manpower, ensuring proper documentation, daily attendance tracking, statutory verification, and billing reconciliation.
Drive plant-level employee engagement campaigns, worker welfare initiatives, vocational training, and legal awareness workshops.
Support structured performance management, factory KPI tracking, training initiatives, and retention strategies for plant personnel.
Execute formal exit procedures, conduct structured exit interviews, and analyze root causes for employee attrition and absenteeism.
Generate and maintain regular HR MIS reports covering headcount, turnover, absenteeism ratios, overtime hours, manpower cost allocations, and hiring statuses.
Ensure strict adherence to health, workplace safety, plant discipline, POSH frameworks, and worker welfare standards in coordination with factory operations teams.
Manage internal and external HR audits, ensuring swift resolution and closure of audit observations.
Serve as the central HR communication bridge connecting plant workers, line supervisors, production management, and corporate HR leadership.
Requirements and Qualifications
4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Plant or Factory HR operations, with strong preference for candidates from Fashion, Garment, Textile, Apparel, or core Manufacturing backgrounds.
Demonstrated competence in managing blue-collar workforces, worker unions, and contract staffing vendors.
Comprehensive knowledge of Plant and Factory HR procedures, workforce planning, and mass factory hiring.
Strong practical experience in payroll operations, attendance software, and shift management.
In-depth understanding of Indian Labor Laws, Factories Act, PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, and Minimum Wages regulations.
Proven skills in handling employee relations, dispute resolution, and grievance handling in an industrial plant environment.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and HRMS portals.
Strong communication, negotiation, and cross-functional interpersonal skills with an ability to manage plant operations independently.
Working schedule is Monday to Saturday on-site at the Noida plant.
