Role Overview
As a Senior Talent Fulfilment Specialist, the professional joins a cross-functional development environment as an internal talent fulfillment partner. Based in Pune under a hybrid work model, this role is responsible for end-to-end resource deployment, workforce allocation, and bench optimization, ensuring that project staffing matches delivery priorities and business outcomes. The role combines core resource management governance with direct involvement in talent acquisition operations to fulfill open technology requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Own and govern resource allocation and deployment across active engineering accounts, balancing technical skill alignment, engineer availability, and client priorities.
Manage the corporate bench actively to minimize non-billable bench aging through prompt redeployment, internal rotation, and upskilling programs.
Partner closely with technology delivery directors and business leaders to forecast upcoming resource demand and construct actionable talent supply roadmaps.
Maintain comprehensive, real-time visibility into the talent pipeline, skill inventories, and resource utilization metrics.
Execute monthly and quarterly workforce capacity planning cycles, aligning internal supply with projected project pipelines.
Champion internal mobility programs to discover internal redeployment matches prior to initiating external hiring requisitions.
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams to bridge delivery capability gaps through targeted external talent sourcing when internal bench supply is constrained.
Conduct hands-on external recruitment workflows including sourcing, candidate screening, and interview scheduling for niche IT roles.
Track, analyze, and publish core operational metrics including employee billability, bench aging durations, vacancy fill rates, and deployment turnaround time.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor degree in engineering, human resources, or a relevant business discipline.
6 to 8 years of proven experience in resource management, workforce planning, capacity forecasting, or talent deployment, preferably within IT services, software engineering, or consulting companies.
1 to 2 years of practical experience supporting talent acquisition activities and external recruitment fulfillment is highly preferred.
Demonstrated analytical skills with practical exposure to RMG platforms, ERP systems, and HRIS tools.
Demonstrated ability to balance immediate client deployment pressures with sustainable, long-term workforce optimization strategies.
Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities across technical delivery leaders, human resources, and senior corporate management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to negotiate and align staffing decisions effectively.
