Role Overview
SIG is looking for an Analyst HR Operations and Services to manage plant-level human resources workflows and operations. The position is based in-office at the manufacturing plant in the Chakan Phase IV area of Khed, Pune. The analyst will take end-to-end charge of factory people processes including recruitment, joining formalities, employee relations, statutory compliance, payroll processing, attendance tracking, appraisal support, training programs, workforce welfare, and enterprise data management within SAP and HRMS platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding
Execute plant-level hiring and talent acquisition for operations, shop-floor workers, technical staff, and supervisors.
Manage candidate documentation, pre-onboarding checks, and systematic onboarding procedures for new hires.
Facilitate comprehensive orientation, workplace inductions, and smooth plant integration.
Employee Lifecycle and Separation Management
Administer probation tracking, role confirmations, employee transfers, and promotion records.
Supervise end-to-end employee exit management, clearance procedures, and full and final settlements.
Conduct structured exit interviews and compile reports on operational turnover trends.
Statutory Compliance and Plant Audits
Ensure full adherence to local labor laws, the Factories Act, and statutory employment guidelines.
Oversee statutory registers, returns, and payments for PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Bonus, and Minimum Wages.
Directly manage and support plant compliance audits including Sedex, ISO 9001, and governmental labor inspections.
Payroll, Attendance, and Administration
Track daily workforce attendance, overtime, shifts, and leave records.
Coordinate and verify monthly payroll inputs, reconciliations, deductions, and wage disbursements.
Maintain updated physical records and manage master workforce data within SAP and internal HRMS systems.
Execute administrative office and factory operations, ensuring consistent enforcement of company policies.
Employee Relations, Engagement, and Development
Foster open communication and resolve employee grievances and operational conflicts with fairness.
Uphold factory discipline, workplace safety standards, and operational guidelines.
Plan and implement shop-floor engagement activities, team-building sessions, and worker welfare programs.
Identify capability needs and support the delivery of training and development programs.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor degree in any discipline, with preference for Human Resources or related fields.
Minimum 7 plus years of hands-on experience as an HR Generalist in a small-to-mid-size manufacturing plant environment.
Candidates must be based in Chakan Phase IV or nearby surrounding areas of Pune.
Working structure is strictly in-office at the plant with flexible working hours.
Demonstrated experience in independently managing plant audits such as Sedex, ISO 9001 quality audits, and regulatory labor law compliance.
Practical hands-on experience managing workforce data in SAP and enterprise HRMS portals.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal, grievance-handling, and communication skills suitable for an active manufacturing plant setup.
