The company is hiring a Senior Specialist - GS&P Learning & Development to support the global learning and development agenda for the GBS organization. This role focuses on executing learning programs, maintaining competency frameworks, administering the Learning Management System, managing learning operations, reporting, and supporting employee capability development. The company operates in the retail industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Competency Framework & Content Maintenance:
Support updates to GS&P competency models, proficiency levels, and role-based expectations. Maintain documentation and governance files related to capability frameworks. Evaluate learning content against competency requirements and support recommendations for content enhancement, retirement, or development.
Learning Program Support & Execution:
Support the design, coordination, and deployment of global and regional learning programs across digital, virtual, and classroom formats. Manage training logistics including scheduling, participant communication, invitations, and attendance tracking. Assist in developing instructional materials, job aids, toolkits, and learner resources in collaboration with subject matter experts. Ensure training content remains current, organized, and aligned with competency frameworks.
Academy & LMS Administration:
Serve as the day-to-day administrator for the GS&P & GCI Academy and Learning Management System. Maintain course catalogs, metadata, platform structure, and organization. Upload, update, retire, and quality-check digital learning content. Support learners with platform navigation and issue resolution. Track learning completion, generate reports, and build dashboards to support decision-making.
Data, Reporting & Insights:
Generate reports on learning participation, completion rates, program effectiveness, and LMS usage. Partner with HR to analyze learning data, identify trends, and improve learner engagement. Maintain dashboards and documentation supporting strategic reviews.
Business Partner Collaboration:
Partner with global GS&P and GCI teams along with subject matter experts to support learning initiatives. Coordinate with vendors and external partners for training delivery and technical support. Provide responsive communication and stakeholder support across multiple regions and time zones.
Operational Coordination:
Manage shared inboxes, intake processes, governance logs, and learning program trackers. Support change management initiatives including communications, newsletters, training launches, pilot programs, feedback collection, and continuous improvement activities.
Required Skills:
Strong organizational and project coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a global environment. Excellent communication skills. Strong attention to detail and quality assurance. Experience with data reporting, metrics tracking, and analysis. Familiarity with learning development tools such as Articulate, Canva, and Microsoft PowerPoint is an advantage. Experience working with Learning Management Systems including Cornerstone, Workday Learning, Articulate LMS, or similar platforms is preferred. Basic understanding of procurement, sourcing, or business operations is beneficial.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Education, Supply Chain, Procurement, or equivalent experience.
