The Manager, Compliance & Payroll will be responsible for managing end-to-end labour law compliance, statutory compliance, payroll administration, PF Trust governance, factory HR operations, and vendor management for the manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with labour laws by maintaining statutory registers, returns, notices, records, and documentation. Manage statutory filings under EPF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, Professional Tax, CLRA, Factory Act, Welfare Fund, and other applicable regulations. Coordinate labour inspections, government audits, and ensure timely closure of observations. Track labour law amendments, update SOPs, conduct compliance training, perform internal compliance audits, implement corrective and preventive actions, and maintain compliance MIS dashboards. Manage factory licenses, registrations, renewals, amendments, contractor licenses, statutory documentation, and maintain centralized compliance records. Oversee payroll processing for blue-collar employees including attendance, shifts, overtime, incentives, allowances, deductions, arrears, recoveries, advances, bank uploads, salary disbursement, payroll reconciliation, payroll master data, wage revisions, payroll controls, and employee payroll grievance resolution. Partner with Production, Time Office, and Security teams to ensure attendance accuracy and overtime compliance. Manage end-to-end Factory PF Trust operations including monthly contributions, reconciliations, settlements, withdrawals, member services, governance, trustee meetings, statutory reporting, audits, and compliance. Manage payroll and compliance service providers, monitor vendor performance, validate statutory documentation, coordinate vendor payments, and ensure contractual compliance. Maintain payroll confidentiality, statutory documentation, inspection readiness, data integrity, and drive automation and process improvement initiatives. Candidates should possess an MBA in Human Resources, MSW, PGDM in Human Resources, or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 8 years of experience in factory HR operations, labour law compliance, payroll administration, statutory compliance, PF Trust management, contractor compliance, factory licensing, manufacturing HR operations, labour inspections, statutory audits, and payroll management for blue-collar employees. Experience in unionized manufacturing environments, HRMS, payroll systems, statutory reporting, advanced Microsoft Excel, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and strong documentation skills is required.
