Agratas, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons, is hiring a DGM Total Rewards for its Bengaluru, Karnataka, India location. Agratas designs, develops, and manufactures high-quality, high-performance, sustainable battery technologies for mobility and energy sectors. The company is a scale-up business with a start-up mindset focused on green growth and technological innovation.
The role is part of the Rewards Center of Excellence and requires an experienced rewards professional who can design, govern, and execute key reward programs across the organization. The position focuses on Long Term Incentive Plans, Short Term Incentive Programs, benefits, reward policies, analytics, governance, and core rewards processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and manage Long Term Incentive programs including ESOPs, RSUs, PSUs, and phantom plans aligned with business goals and shareholder value creation.
Manage LTI cycles including grant design, valuation, employee communication, vesting, and payout processes.
Develop performance-linked reward frameworks using business KPIs and partner with finance and leadership teams on equity dilution and cost modelling.
Define and embed Total Rewards Philosophy in collaboration with leadership and HR teams.
Design competitive and scalable rewards frameworks and policies aligned with business requirements and market benchmarks.
Conduct regular policy governance, audits, and market reviews to maintain competitiveness while ensuring cost control.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, internal controls, and data governance requirements across reward processes.
Drive policy simplification and improve employee understanding of rewards programs.
Create inclusive rewards strategies to attract, engage, and retain a diverse workforce.
Manage annual salary review processes including market benchmarking, budget modelling, pay ranges, guidelines, and governance controls.
Design short-term incentive programs, reward frameworks, and policy enhancements.
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Operations, and HR Business Partners to ensure smooth execution of rewards processes.
Build analytical models, dashboards, and insights to support reward decisions and workforce planning.
Present reward insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders with strategic clarity.
Partner with HR Technology teams to implement and optimize reward platforms.
Leverage predictive analytics for workforce and reward planning initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
5 to 8 years of experience in Total Rewards with strong exposure to compensation, benefits, incentive programs, and rewards strategy.
MBA from Tier 1 or Tier 2 campus preferred.
Experience working with multinational organizations and rewards consulting environments is preferred.
Strong understanding of numeracy, financial modelling, compensation analytics, and reward frameworks.
Advanced skills in data analytics tools including Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex reward concepts for stakeholders.
Experience in R&D, manufacturing, or engineering industries is preferred.
Understanding of global job levelling frameworks and market reward models.
Strong design thinking, solution orientation, business understanding, analytical capability, and stakeholder partnering skills.
