UPL is looking for a dynamic individual with a minimum of 5 years of experience to support and administer HR activities relating to Payroll, HR Analytics, Performance Management System, Talent Acquisition, Culture and Engagement, and Training and Development. The role will be responsible for HR operations and people analytics activities for the aligned region and will work closely with regional HR leadership and multiple stakeholders.
Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the Regional HR Business Partner to integrate data from multiple systems for comprehensive HR analysis. Monitor and coordinate Payroll and associated activities, including monthly tracker reporting and statutory and actuarial reports as applicable. Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with operational goals and present findings and data-driven recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders.
The role requires staying up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in people analytics and HR technology. The selected candidate will continuously improve data collection processes, reporting standards, and analytical techniques. The position will also act as the SPOC, or single point of contact, for all HR operational activities for the aligned region.
People Metrics & Insights:
Measure and track key HR metrics to provide meaningful insights into workforce trends and business outcomes. Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data related to employee performance, turnover, recruitment, engagement, Training and Development, attrition, and retention.
Work closely with HR teams to collect and analyze relevant data and support data-driven decision-making across areas such as Talent Acquisition, employee engagement, and Performance Management. The role will require strong attention to data accuracy and the ability to translate HR data into useful insights for business and HR stakeholders.
Experience and Qualifications:
The candidate should have proven experience in system upgrades, integrations, and project management, along with good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve system-related issues. Strong project management skills are required to lead and coordinate system upgrades and implementations.
A Bachelor's degree in HR is required, while a Masterβs degree in HR is preferred. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing HR MIS and related HR operations and analytics activities.

The candidate should be able to work effectively in agile environments and collaborate with diverse teams and multiple stakeholders. The role requires a detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity.
The candidate should be capable of solving complex problems and breaking them down into simpler and manageable parts. A high-energy and passionate approach is expected, along with the ability to work closely with Global and Regional HR Heads. The candidate should also be willing to adopt an iterative approach and demonstrate an experimental mindset to drive innovation and continuous improvement in HR operations and people analytics.
The position is based in Pune Division, Maharashtra, India and is an on-site role.
