In this role as a People Shared Services Adviser, you will manage India payroll and statutory compliance, ensuring accurate payroll validation, timely remittances and returns, audit readiness, and effective coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Key responsibilities include ensuring full compliance with Indian labour laws and statutory requirements covering PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Gratuity, TDS, and Bonus, validating payroll inputs and statutory deductions, and ensuring timely return filings and record maintenance. You will support audits, monitor regulatory changes, strengthen compliance controls, coordinate with finance and payroll vendors to resolve escalations, and maintain compliance dashboards, SOPs, and MIS reports. Qualifications require a bachelor degree in commerce, Business Administration, HR, Finance, or a related field, along with 3 to 5 years of hands-on India payroll and statutory compliance experience. Strong working knowledge of payroll platforms like ADP or SuccessFactors, excellent Excel skills, and a commitment to maintaining zero penalties or regulatory notices are essential.
