Job Description
AimsHR is hiring a Manager ā Payroll Compliance for a leading NBFC at Santacruz East, Mumbai. Human Resources and Recruitment consulting company.
The role requires an experienced HR professional with 3 to 6 years of expertise in Payroll Compliance, preferably in the NBFC or Financial Services sector. The selected candidate will lead payroll compliance activities, ensure statutory compliance and manage payroll operations while collaborating with HR, Finance and Legal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll processing with accuracy and timely salary disbursement.
Oversee salary processing including incentives, bonuses and reimbursements.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS and other applicable regulations.
Manage payroll inputs including attendance, leave records and deductions.
Ensure compliance with labour laws and applicable regulatory frameworks.
Handle timely statutory filings and returns.
Coordinate with auditors and government authorities for compliance matters.
Track changes in labour laws and payroll regulations and implement required updates.
Maintain compliant employee records and documentation.
Conduct internal payroll compliance audits.
Develop and update HR policies in line with legal requirements.
Support internal and external audits with proper documentation.
Prepare payroll compliance reports, dashboards and MIS.
Analyze payroll data to ensure accuracy and support cost optimization.
Collaborate with HR, Finance and Legal teams.
Resolve employee queries related to payroll and statutory compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Finance or a related field.
3 to 6 years of Payroll Compliance experience, preferably in NBFC or Financial Services.
Strong knowledge of labour laws, payroll processes and statutory compliance.
Hands-on experience with HRMS and payroll software.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience handling audits and regulatory inspections.
Knowledge of RBI compliance for NBFCs will be an added advantage.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
