The Human Resources Manager will oversee the full spectrum of HR operations for DPMI Vocational Institute, ensuring compliant, efficient, and people centered practices. This is a full time, on site role based in Delhi, India.
Daily responsibilities include managing recruitment and onboarding, maintaining employee records, administering compensation and benefits, and ensuring adherence to labor laws and institutional policies. The role will coordinate performance management processes, support learning and development initiatives, and address employee relations concerns in a fair and confidential manner. The Human Resources Manager will also collaborate with leadership to develop HR policies, support organizational planning, and foster an inclusive and respectful work culture.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
Proficiency in HR administration, such as maintaining HRIS systems, managing employee records, and handling payroll and benefits coordination.
Comprehensive understanding of labor laws, regulatory compliance, and HR policies relevant to educational and vocational institutions in India.
Well developed communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with staff, faculty, and stakeholders.
Ability to design and implement training, development, and engagement initiatives that support staff growth and organizational culture.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with common office and HR software tools including MS Office Suite and HRIS platforms along with comfort in data reporting and documentation.
Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
Experience working in an educational or vocational training environment is preferred along with a commitment to equity, inclusion, and non discriminatory practices.
