UPS is hiring for the position of HR Geo Services Specialist, Marken India at its Mumbai office. The role is responsible for providing HR support to assigned business geographies and delivering HR services that require close coordination with business operations across one or multiple UPS locations.
The HR Geo Services Specialist will support and implement HR initiatives across Compensation and Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Workforce Planning, HR Administration, Performance Management, Compliance, Payroll, Audits, Onboarding, Offboarding, and Employee Engagement. The role requires partnering with business leaders and managers to provide effective HR solutions while ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
The selected candidate will manage the complete recruitment process by ensuring requisitions are created in Workday, assisting business functions with requisition creation, updating recruitment trackers, sourcing qualified candidates through multiple channels, screening resumes, conducting HR fit interviews, coordinating functional interviews with hiring managers, following up on interview feedback, processing offers, and coordinating candidate documentation.
The role includes managing onboarding and offboarding activities by completing joining formalities for new employees on their first day, collecting and maintaining employee documents, updating personnel files within prescribed timelines, designing induction plans, coordinating exit formalities, conducting exit interviews, obtaining no-dues clearances, and supporting Full and Final Settlement processes.
The candidate will manage Compensation and Benefits activities by providing monthly payroll inputs, validating salary data, conducting payroll audits, coordinating with government agencies, ensuring statutory compliance related to ESIC, PF, PT, and other labor laws, and administering employee benefits.
The position also involves handling employee concerns, disciplinary matters, behavioral and performance improvement plans, industrial relations activities, maintaining confirmation, promotion, and increment records, coordinating mid-year and annual performance reviews, supporting quarterly, biannual, annual, and AVSEC audits, conducting Workday data audits, ensuring data accuracy, and implementing necessary corrections.
Additional responsibilities include communicating HR policies, administering contract labor, preparing HR letters, certificates, and employment documents, managing leave administration, attendance management, vendor management, reporting and analysis, relocation processes, drafting and updating job descriptions, employee handbooks, performance appraisal documents, SOPs, HR policies, and other HR documentation.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities, along with the capability to prioritize work effectively. Candidates should have 7 to 8 years of Human Resources experience and hold a Graduate degree with a qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
