Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is hiring a Senior HR Manager for its India Technology Center (ITC) in Pune. The India Technology Center is a rapidly growing organization supporting global technology and digital initiatives across Williams-Sonoma. ITC plays a critical role in delivering innovation, scalability, and business impact across global platforms with a strong engineering and product talent base. The HR team partners closely with Technology leadership and associates to attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent while building a high-performing, inclusive, and performance-driven culture.
The Senior HR Manager will serve as a strategic and hands-on HR Business Partner, working closely with senior Technology leaders at the Director and Vice President level to translate business priorities into people strategies. The role focuses on building a scalable and high-performing organization by leading initiatives across HR Business Partnership, Talent Development, HR Operations, Employee Engagement, Leadership Development, and Performance Management. The position also involves partnering with Talent Acquisition leadership to align hiring strategies with business growth and workforce planning while collaborating with global HR teams to implement best practices.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Technology leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, leadership coaching, performance management, employee engagement, succession planning, talent reviews, capability building, compensation and rewards, associate relations, HR analytics, change management, HR operations, compliance with Indian labour laws, HRIS data management using Oracle, payroll coordination, audit readiness, adapting global HR policies for local compliance, leading and developing the HR team, supporting talent acquisition and onboarding strategies, enhancing candidate experience, and ensuring effective onboarding programs that improve employee productivity.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent work experience along with 8–10 years of progressive HR experience including HR Business Partnering and Talent Development. Experience in global or matrix organizations, preferably within product companies or Global Capability Centers, is required. Applicants should have experience supporting Technology or Engineering organizations, workforce planning, talent acquisition partnership, high-volume hiring, organizational scaling, Indian labour law compliance, stakeholder management, HR analytics, Oracle HRIS, problem-solving, and leadership in fast-paced environments. The role requires working from the Pune office 3 to 4 days per week in a hybrid work model.
