Huron is hiring a Workday HCM Consultant (Compensation) who will act as a subject matter expert for Workday Advanced Compensation and support clients in solving complex business challenges through technology-driven solutions. The role requires strong consulting expertise, relationship-building skills, and the ability to lead project work streams, execute project plans, deliver analytics, and provide client presentations.
The selected candidate will conduct working sessions with stakeholders to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements. The candidate will assess stakeholder needs, recommend suitable solutions, advise on Workday best practices, identify process improvements, and implement system enhancements to improve business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include designing, configuring, testing, and deploying business requirements for the Workday Advanced Compensation module while adapting to changing stakeholder requirements. The consultant will manage medium to high complexity projects, prioritize conflicting demands across multiple stakeholders, and independently execute responsibilities within areas of expertise.
The role involves managing project scope, quality, and timelines, providing guidance and coaching to team members, reviewing work deliverables, researching system issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective solutions. The candidate will also contribute innovative approaches to improve Workday deployment efficiency and effectiveness.
The consultant will actively participate in sales processes by leveraging Workday expertise to support client engagement and business growth. The role requires meeting key performance indicators including utilization targets, service level agreements, and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements:
Workday Advanced Compensation and Compensation certification is mandatory. Candidates should have 4β7 years of Workday experience with experience leading at least two cycles of Advanced Compensation launches. Strong knowledge of Workday HCM, Core Compensation, custom reporting, analytics, EIB, and Workday security administration is required.
The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage client relationships and deliver effective Workday solutions.
