B. Braun Group is seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Human Resources (Compensation & Benefits) to lead and manage the complete rewards, benefits, payroll governance, and statutory compliance portfolio for its India operations. The role is responsible for designing competitive compensation structures, driving Total Rewards strategy, ensuring labour law compliance, and supporting talent attraction, retention, and organisational growth.
Key responsibilities include leading the Compensation & Benefits portfolio across plants, sales, and corporate functions, driving Total Rewards strategy, job mapping, job grading, salary structure design, salary benchmarking, annual merit planning, variable pay cycles, budgeting, salary fitments, compensation analytics, employee benefits administration, insurance programs, wellness initiatives, reward and recognition programs, governance of compensation policies, offer guidelines, and performance-linked rewards. The role also partners with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition teams to support manpower planning and competitive hiring decisions.
The incumbent will drive manpower cost efficiency through workforce utilisation insights, headcount planning, and FTE governance. The position serves as the single point of contact for statutory HR compliance across locations, leading implementation of all Indian Labour Codes including Wage Code, Social Security Code, Occupational Safety, Health & Working Conditions (OSH) Code, and Industrial Relations (IR) Code. Responsibilities include aligning compensation structures with statutory wage definitions, PF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, and working-condition requirements, governing multi-state compliance, HRMS statutory configuration, SOP creation, internal and external audits, and conducting communication, training, and change management initiatives related to Labour Code implementation.
Additional responsibilities include overseeing payroll governance, ensuring payroll accuracy, statutory deductions, audit readiness, MIS reporting, full and final settlements, compliance documentation, managing HRIS and key vendors including payroll providers, insurance partners, tax consultants, actuarial consultants, and HRIS stakeholders. The role also manages expatriate processes including visas, relocation, tax coordination, gross-up calculations, and external partner management.
Candidates should possess an MBA/PGDM in HR with 8β12 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, payroll governance, HR compliance, and rewards management, preferably within FMCG, Pharma, Life Sciences, or Manufacturing industries. Additional certifications in Rewards, Compensation Management, HR Analytics, or Labour Law are advantageous. Strong knowledge of Indian Labour Codes, statutory frameworks, salary structures, HR analytics, vendor management, HRIS, multi-location compliance, and the ability to partner with senior leadership are essential.
