Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR professional to independently manage the HR function for the Optical Business within an Eye Care Hospital. The role involves strategic manpower planning, HR operations, employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition and business partnering.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Independently manage the complete HR function for the business.
ā¢ Drive manpower planning, recruitment, fitment, onboarding, transfers, promotions, remuneration, goal setting, appraisals and salary actions.
ā¢ Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances and separation processes.
ā¢ Ensure labour law and HR compliance.
ā¢ Lead large-scale recruitment pipelines and develop effective onboarding frameworks.
ā¢ Support business growth through strategic workforce planning and talent acquisition.
ā¢ Build recruitment strategies, including campus hiring and market mapping.
ā¢ Develop and manage employee incentive programmes.
ā¢ Use HR analytics and workforce data to support business decisions.
ā¢ Drive change management and support organisational growth and restructuring.
ā¢ Work closely with senior stakeholders and business leaders.
ā¢ Mentor and develop the HR team.
Requirements:
ā¢ Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years independently handling an HR business vertical/location or experience as HR Head of a small enterprise.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of labour law compliance, HR operations and manpower planning.
ā¢ Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, MS Excel and AI-enabled HR tools.
ā¢ Strong understanding of talent management, compensation and workforce analytics.
ā¢ Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
ā¢ Strong industry network and resourcefulness.
ā¢ Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of the HR function.
