SOS Children's Villages of India (SOSCVI) is hiring a Lead - People Development based in Delhi. The position reports directly to the Chief HR Officer and works closely with the leadership team to drive strategic HR initiatives across the organization. SOS Children's Villages of India is an independent, non-governmental and non-profit organization working for the holistic development of parentless children and vulnerable families. For more than 60 years, the organization has impacted over 83,000 lives through 32 SOS Children's Villages and 28 community projects across India.
The selected candidate will manage HR operations including Talent Acquisition, People Development, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Employer Branding, and Workforce Planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Management
⢠Develop, review, and update job descriptions aligned with business requirements and organizational structure.
⢠Lead recruitment activities across PAN India.
⢠Drive hiring through campus recruitment, job portals, employee referrals, social media platforms, headhunting firms, and other sourcing channels.
⢠Manage bulk hiring requirements while ensuring quality hiring and adherence to timelines.
Talent Pipeline & Workforce Planning
⢠Identify and establish alternative sourcing channels to strengthen recruitment efforts.
⢠Build and maintain talent pools and bench strength for critical and future positions.
Competency Assessment
⢠Design and implement competency-based assessment frameworks.
⢠Evaluate candidates and employees against behavioral and functional competencies.
⢠Guide team leaders in mapping competencies against job roles during hiring and performance management.
Succession Planning
⢠Partner with leadership teams to identify high-potential employees.
⢠Develop succession plans for key organizational roles.
Employer Branding & External Certifications
⢠Lead participation in employer branding initiatives and certifications such as Great Place to Work (GPTW).
⢠Coordinate surveys, audits, documentation, and improvement initiatives required for certifications.
⢠Conduct market and industry benchmarking studies related to HR practices, compensation, benefits, talent management, and employee engagement.
⢠Recommend HR best practices to enhance organizational effectiveness.
