Job Description
General Mills India is hiring a Sr. D&T Analyst β HR for its Global Shared Services Centre in Mumbai. General Mills operates in the food manufacturing and consumer goods industry with over 1,800 professionals at its India Center. The role is part of the Digital and Technology team, which partners with global business teams to drive technology innovation and digital transformation across the organization.
The selected candidate will be responsible for configuring and supporting Workday HCM and other HR systems and processes that improve user experience, support HR operations, and deliver value to the global workforce. The role requires strong expertise in system configuration, process improvement, data analysis, problem solving, and stakeholder communication while working collaboratively across global teams.
Key responsibilities include serving as the lead analyst and subject matter expert for Workday HCM processes, data, and technology initiatives. The candidate will configure and support Workday HCM including business processes, security, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), reporting, and related functionality. The role also includes leading global HR system process, data, and technology projects, providing day-to-day operational support for HR systems, ensuring system health and sustainability, troubleshooting complex Workday HCM issues including business process configuration, calculated fields, integrations, and EIBs, and recommending effective technical solutions.
Additional responsibilities include acting as a lead consultant for global HR systems, identifying process impacts on technology and data, gathering and translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications, partnering with business stakeholders to improve HR processes, delivering projects through discovery, planning, implementation, testing, and stabilization, creating test scripts, executing quality assurance activities, ensuring user acceptance, developing technical documentation, communicating system changes to users with varying technical knowledge, and staying current with Workday innovations and best practices.
Candidates should have 8 to 10 years of experience supporting and developing complex Workday HCM solutions with strong experience in configuring and supporting Workday HCM Core. Experience working on global system implementation projects, configuring and supporting Cornerstone, iCIMS, and Workday HCM, collaborating with third-party vendors, gathering business requirements, supporting production environments, and working within global organizations is required. Preferred qualifications include strong interpersonal skills, learning agility, problem-solving ability, process improvement mindset, experience mentoring team members, high integrity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Expertise in Core HCM, Business Process Configuration, EIBs, Security, Calculated Fields, and Advanced Reports is essential.
