Job Description
Abbott is looking for a Manager of Organization and Culture who will serve as the Area Organization Effectiveness OE and Culture Consultant, responsible for planning, executing, and delivering strategic organizational performance, employee engagement, and cultural alignment initiatives across assigned divisions, areas, and functions.
The role involves leading the development and implementation of OE strategies aligned with broader business objectives while addressing the specific needs of different divisions, areas, and functions. The selected candidate will partner with business leaders and HR teams to design and implement organization solutions that support business strategy, transformation, growth, and workforce effectiveness.
Key responsibilities include working with division business leaders and HR leaders to assess organizational needs, diagnose challenges, plan interventions, and implement strategic organization effectiveness solutions. The candidate will provide consulting support to Business HR leaders and key stakeholders across various functions including field commercial teams, manufacturing operations, and other business areas.
The role requires providing strategic guidance, tools, and frameworks to help leaders navigate organizational transformation and growth. The candidate will translate enterprise culture goals into actionable team-level initiatives, monitor cultural health through employee survey data, identify trends, and collaborate with leaders to develop focused action plans.
The selected candidate will maintain a strong focus on execution by tracking progress through KPIs and adapting strategies based on evolving workforce requirements. The role involves partnering with Business HR and business leaders to deliver organizational support, measure the impact of organizational interventions through evaluations, metrics, focus groups, and performance outcomes.
Responsibilities also include collaborating with Talent Development practice partners to design and implement organization plans covering team effectiveness, leadership development, change management, and cultural initiatives. The candidate will facilitate leadership assimilation programs, workshops, team interventions, and organizational meetings.
Candidates should have strong business acumen with the ability to connect business strategy with practical Organization Effectiveness, Change Management, and Culture solutions. Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, influencing, and collaboration skills are required to work effectively across multiple organizational levels.
The ideal candidate should have experience working in matrixed environments and diverse teams or regions with a focus on achieving business results through collaboration.
