Job Description
Avantor is hiring a Talent Acquisition Partner responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for all open positions in India while ensuring hiring within budget and maintaining quality standards. The role requires a customer-focused Talent Acquisition professional with strong direct sourcing experience who can partner with business hiring managers and cross-functional HR teams to identify, attract, and hire top talent.
The selected candidate will lead the complete recruitment lifecycle including understanding hiring requirements, conducting intake sessions, developing recruitment strategies, sourcing candidates, screening, interview coordination, candidate relationship management, offer management, and maintaining a strong talent pipeline. The role involves handling sensitive, complex, and confidential information with proper discretion.
The Talent Acquisition Partner will support Avantor’s hiring activities across the Eastern Hemisphere with a focus on Finance hiring in India. This is an on-site role based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
Key responsibilities include partnering with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to identify workforce needs, reducing time-to-fill through direct sourcing, networking, social media engagement, referrals, and candidate pipeline development. The role will involve pre-screening qualified candidates, facilitating interview feedback discussions, providing compensation recommendations, extending offers, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
The candidate will utilize multiple sourcing channels including online platforms, social media, networking events, and market research to identify potential candidates. Responsibilities also include resume screening, phone interviews, interview scheduling, maintaining accurate candidate records in ATS and CRM systems, developing talent pools, refining job descriptions, managing job postings, and attracting diverse qualified candidates.
The role requires leading recruitment strategies covering sourcing, recruitment marketing, resume submissions, interviews, hiring team alignment, and offer processes. The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand staffing requirements, create effective sourcing plans, participate in recruitment meetings, and provide talent market intelligence insights to support hiring decisions.
