The Country HR Manager India will serve as the local HR leader and employee-facing HR partner, ensuring that global HR strategies are translated into compliant, relevant, and effective people practices across India. The role partners with business leaders, managers, HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and HR Operations Services to strengthen employee engagement, talent management, performance, organizational effectiveness, compliance, and workplace culture. The selected candidate will act as the primary HR point of contact for India, advising managers on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, performance management, employee engagement, retention, and change management. Responsibilities include managing employee relations, grievance handling, disciplinary matters, statutory compliance, industrial relations where applicable, maintaining country-specific HR policies and governance, implementing talent management, succession planning, learning and development, employee engagement initiatives, and supporting recruitment activities by partnering with hiring managers, Talent Acquisition teams, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence. The role also involves coordinating with HR Operations Services to ensure smooth payroll, onboarding, employee lifecycle management, HR documentation, mobility, HR data administration, and exit processes. Additional responsibilities include using HR analytics and workforce dashboards to support decision-making, coaching people managers on HR processes, promoting health, safety, wellbeing, inclusion, continuous process improvement, automation, digital HR adoption, and ensuring a consistent employee experience across the organization. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance, HR governance, employee relations, performance management, talent management, organizational change, stakeholder management, HR systems, HR analytics, and matrix organization practices. A Bachelor's degree is required while a Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline is preferred. HR certifications or formal training in labor law, employee relations, HR business partnering, coaching, or change management will be an added advantage.
