The Senior Manager, Learning and Development is a strategic enabler of business performance, responsible for designing and delivering impactful learning solutions across Leadership, Early Careers, Technical, and Professional Development. The role partners with senior leaders and HR to align learning strategies with commercial priorities, improve operational efficiency, and support talent development.
Reporting to the Head of Learning and Development, the role supports the complete learning lifecycle from needs analysis through evaluation while embedding Kroll’s values and leadership behaviors into learning initiatives. The position is recognized as a subject matter expert and will lead complex engagements, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver measurable value through innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The role requires an understanding of Kroll’s core businesses to develop relevant technical and professional curricula in collaboration with business teams and colleagues.
The candidate will help build a modern learning approach by developing policies and processes that support the organization's training agenda while embedding Kroll’s unique culture and values. The role requires a pragmatic and creative approach to evaluating existing practices and making practical recommendations for future improvements.
The role holder will be responsible for defining and creating learning content and developing high-quality, consumer-grade experiences through learning systems and digital assets. The candidate will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of learning solutions using frameworks such as ADDIE or 4Ds, ensuring alignment with business strategy and workforce priorities.
The candidate will shape learning strategies through robust needs analysis, market insight, and stakeholder consultation to deliver measurable business value. The role will advocate for learning as a driver of transformation, growth, and performance across the organization.
The position will oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of one or more learning solutions, ensuring scalability, relevance, and measurable impact. The candidate will manage complex learning programs across geographies and business units, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery aligned with commercial goals.
The role will facilitate learning sessions and provide coaching to leaders and learners to enhance capability and confidence. The candidate will create and curate high-quality learning content across multiple modalities including digital, in-person, and blended formats.
The position will leverage digital tools and platforms to improve accessibility, personalization, and learner engagement. The candidate will contribute to the development of learning pathways, taxonomies, and content governance within systems such as Oracle Learning.
The role will manage L&D budgets and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective delivery and alignment with L&D policies. The candidate will maximize the value of learning investments by tracking utilization, return on investment, and learner outcomes while ensuring operational efficiency through streamlined processes, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
The Senior Manager will act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the People Function, business units, and L&D service delivery. The role will build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external partners to enhance learning impact and talent pipeline development and will collaborate across departments and geographies to align learning initiatives with client and commercial priorities.
The candidate will embed leadership behaviors and organizational values into learning solutions and people processes. The role will lead programs that foster inclusive leadership, career advancement, and a high-performance culture while connecting learning goals to business purpose and recognizing employee contributions.
The position will evaluate learning effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance metrics to support data-driven decisions. The candidate will continuously improve learning programs based on insights, business requirements, and emerging trends while maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
The role will proactively monitor external market trends, emerging learning technologies, and best practices in Learning and Development. The candidate will leverage industry insights to inform strategic learning initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals and future workforce capabilities.
The position will build and maintain networks with external learning professionals, vendors, and thought leaders to bring innovative ideas and benchmarking into Kroll. The ideal candidate should have proven experience managing and scaling global learning programs across domains such as Early Careers, Leadership, and Technical Development.
Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills are required along with expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, and digital learning tools. Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills are essential. The candidate should be comfortable working with data and presenting insights to senior stakeholders and should be able to navigate complexity and drive innovation in a dynamic environment.
