The DGM, HR will serve as the single point of HR accountability and provide end-to-end HR delivery for the assigned manufacturing facility. The role involves partnering with functional leaders, factory associates and business leadership to drive talent development, performance management, employee engagement, workforce capability and organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities include providing operational HR guidance, managing employee relations, organizational design, organizational change initiatives and collaborating with Centres of Expertise including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards and Payroll. The candidate will contribute to workforce planning aligned with business objectives, analyze workforce data, create positions, manage approvals and support strategic talent placement. Additional responsibilities include developing succession plans, building internal talent pipelines, improving employee engagement, reducing attrition, managing headcount and employment costs, preparing monthly HR reports, maintaining HR systems and dashboards, coaching managers, handling employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances and appeals, managing union relationships and settlement negotiations, supporting HR reporting and Workday data validation, participating in interviews and supporting the hiring process. Candidates should possess a Master's Degree in Human Resources with 15 or more years of experience as an HR Business Partner in Manufacturing, Pharma or Factory environments. Experience managing a workforce of more than 500 employees including unionized employees, expertise in labour laws, workforce planning, organizational development, Workday, HR analytics and stakeholder management are essential. Fluency in Kannada is mandatory.
