The HR Associate will lead key HR initiatives while supporting Nayi Dishaās mission and organizational growth. The role will be responsible for talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, and ensuring compliance with HR policies. The candidate will work closely with leadership to cultivate a thriving work environment that promotes employee growth, inclusivity, and engagement.
The selected candidate will manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining accurate employee records. The role will ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and company policies. The candidate will oversee payroll processes, leave management, and employee benefits using the HRMS platform Keka.
The HR Associate will lead recruitment efforts by sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires. The candidate will collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing requirements and plan hiring accordingly. The role will also involve designing and implementing employee engagement programs including employee check-ins and pulse surveys.
The candidate will develop and implement the Learning and Development plan and coordinate training sessions and workshops. The role will facilitate the complete performance review cycle including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals.
The HR Associate will track key HR metrics such as attrition, headcount, time-to-fill, and employee satisfaction. The candidate will prepare HR reports for leadership and provide insights to support effective decision-making.
Candidates should have 1ā2 years of experience in HR generalist roles. Prior experience in a non-profit organization is desirable. Experience managing teams and leading HR projects will be an advantage. Candidates should have a strong understanding of HR policies, labour laws, and HR best practices.
Proficiency in HRMS, specifically Keka, and payroll systems is required. Knowledge of talent management, recruitment strategies, and Learning and Development programs is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with strong organizational, multitasking, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities.
