Job Description
Vipla Foundation, in collaboration with Ground Zero, is looking for an Executive – Human Resources to support people management, recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, training and HR operations. The position is based in BKC, Mumbai and requires 1–2 years of experience. Freshers can also apply. There is 1 position available and the engagement is on a Fixed Term Renewable contract basis.
The selected candidate will manage the recruitment and selection process and prepare detailed Job Descriptions for new vacant positions based on budget availability and necessary sanctions from the respective Directors. The role will include liaising with recruitment agencies, conducting a fulfilling induction program and engaging in periodic people planning based on operational requirements.
The candidate will screen resumes beforehand and share shortlisted resumes with the respective coordinators. The role will also involve nurturing a positive working environment and overseeing and managing a performance appraisal and feedback system that drives high performance.
The selected professional will maintain compensation and benefits programs and assess training needs for the development of a thriving human resource. The candidate will liaise with experts to arrange capacity building and coaching for the team.
The role will involve reporting to management and providing decision support through HR metrics. The candidate will ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management and promptly comply with personal accident policy-related procedures for new recruits and existing employees.
Responsibilities will also include preparing contracts for external professionals and consultants, ensuring timely renewal of all contracts and conducting a thorough exit process while ensuring asset inventory. The candidate will intimate Coordinators about issues or matters requiring attention and maintain all personnel files while ensuring necessary policies such as CPP are complied with wherever required.
The selected candidate will develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems and procedures across the institution and adhere to any other tasks assigned by the Coordinator.
Candidates should have a Post Graduate degree with minimum 1–2 years of experience. Freshers can also apply. The ideal candidate should have an incredible drive and intrinsic motivation for people management, in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in people management, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
The candidate should demonstrate the ability to manage staff data, including training and performance management. Strong organizational and decision-making abilities are required, along with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders constructively and assertively. The role also requires the ability to work to deadlines, multitask and adapt flexibly to changing priorities.
