The Analyst, People Capability, Functions role is responsible for partnering with functional leadership teams to develop employee capabilities, enhance organizational effectiveness, and support business growth through structured learning and development initiatives. The position focuses on identifying capability gaps, designing learning interventions, and ensuring effective execution of capability-building programs that improve frontline performance and business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include creating and managing content for existing learning programs, developing new content to address emerging capability requirements, managing relationships with external learning partners, implementing learning agendas aligned with training strategies, delivering functional communication and engagement initiatives, supporting succession planning activities, managing reward and recognition programs, coordinating coaching initiatives, maintaining capability databases, and tracking employee turnover metrics.
The role involves leading capability planning and needs assessment activities by identifying capability gaps through performance analysis, field immersions, and stakeholder consultations. The selected candidate will partner with Branch Managers, Sales Leaders, and HR Business Partners to diagnose performance gaps and develop structured capability plans aligned with business objectives and market requirements.
The candidate will design and curate learning content, learning journeys, training modules, digital learning interventions, micro-learning assets, and capability tools. Responsibilities include collaborating with subject matter experts, external consultants, and learning partners to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
The role requires delivering learning interventions through classroom training, virtual sessions, digital learning platforms, workshops, and field-based coaching programs. The candidate will manage end-to-end execution of capability programs including planning, communication, scheduling, logistics, learner engagement, and adoption of digital learning platforms.
Additional responsibilities include conducting field immersions to evaluate learning effectiveness, supporting frontline managers in coaching and people development practices, reinforcing capability initiatives on the ground, monitoring learning application, and driving execution excellence.
The candidate will develop and monitor capability dashboards, learning metrics, training effectiveness measures, participation data, completion rates, engagement metrics, and business performance indicators. The role includes analyzing capability data, identifying improvement opportunities, providing recommendations to leadership, and managing governance reviews and capability scorecards.
Strong stakeholder management is required to build relationships with Branch Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Sales Teams, HR Business Partners, Capability Teams, learning partners, training agencies, consultants, and technology vendors. The candidate will also drive adoption and effectiveness of digital learning platforms and capability technology initiatives across the organization.
The ideal candidate should possess expertise in capability planning, learning design, facilitation, stakeholder management, coaching, project management, data analysis, performance improvement, communication, relationship management, and digital learning technologies. Experience in FMCG or CPG environments, direct training delivery, capability management, and advanced database management skills will be advantageous.
