dnata Travel Group is a leading global air and travel services provider and part of the Emirates Group with operations across multiple countries worldwide. The Human Resources Business Partner works under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager and is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of HR operations, employee data management, policy implementation, compliance, employee relations, HR reporting, and workforce administration. The role supervises Specialists, Coordinators, and Associates within the department while providing timely and accurate HR support to business operations.
The selected candidate will guide, monitor, and track HR staff performance through monthly coaching and scoring, assist in creating and implementing new HR policies, update and roll out company policies while ensuring alignment with labor regulations, and support case management activities including disciplinary processes and administrative hearings. Responsibilities include conducting HR orientations for new employees, serving as a backup for HRIS administration including system maintenance and workflow creation, facilitating administrative hearings, and acting as a liaison between employees and management.
The role also involves ensuring accuracy of HR outputs, supporting HR initiatives and process improvements, planning and implementing training programs for HR personnel career development, leading government audits and compliance activities, reviewing employee benefit claims, initiating contract adjustments, preparing HR reports for payroll processing, monitoring AWOL cases, overseeing employee offboarding and leavers reports, managing visa application, cancellation and renewal processes, and serving as the point of contact for assigned HR functions during the absence of the HR Manager.
Minimum requirements include a university degree in business or a related discipline, at least five years of HR experience, experience handling and supervising employees, strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, labor legislation and regulations, experience in HR Business Partner environments, excellent communication skills, strong customer service abilities, negotiation and persuasion skills, analytical thinking, administration experience, computer literacy, HR systems exposure, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
