Garmin is a global technology company specializing in GPS navigation, wearable technology, fitness products, aviation, marine and automotive solutions. The company is seeking a Manager - Human Resources to lead Human Resources and Workplace Operations for its India site. The role is responsible for delivering effective HR business partnering, ensuring compliance with local regulations and managing facilities and office operations to support business performance and employee experience. Key responsibilities include partnering with business leaders to align HR strategy with organizational goals through workforce planning, organizational design and succession planning. The position will drive end-to-end talent processes including recruitment, onboarding, employer branding, performance management and employee development. The role involves managing employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary actions and ensuring compliance with POSH and governance requirements. Additional responsibilities include leading employee engagement, retention and well-being initiatives, fostering an inclusive high-performance culture, collaborating with global teams on compensation programs, merit cycles and career frameworks, overseeing benefits administration including PF, gratuity, insurance and leave policies, and coordinating payroll with finance. The selected candidate will ensure compliance with Indian labor laws including PF, Gratuity, Shops and Establishments, Bonus and leave regulations, support audits and regulatory requirements, liaise with legal, finance and external bodies, manage workplace operations including office infrastructure, vendor management, security, housekeeping, transportation and safety compliance. The role also includes facilities management, budgeting, procurement, contract management, space planning, office moves, business continuity readiness, onboarding logistics, workspace setup and workplace events. Candidates should possess strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively in multinational and matrixed environments. Experience in hybrid HR and site leadership roles and exposure to scaling India operations will be advantageous.
