The Senior Associate HRIS โ SAP Employee Central Payroll will serve as an experienced SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Techno-Functional Consultant responsible for leading and managing the payroll application landscape from business, functional, and technical perspectives. This role acts as a strategic bridge between HR and Payroll business stakeholders and IT teams while providing advanced advisory services, solution leadership, governance, and application ownership.
The successful candidate will function as a trusted advisor to HR and Payroll leadership teams, influencing decisions regarding system capabilities, payroll process optimization, technology roadmaps, and business transformation initiatives. The role requires developing a deep understanding of end-to-end HR and payroll processes and translating business requirements into scalable and sustainable system solutions.
Key responsibilities include leading discussions on payroll process improvements, automation opportunities, data governance standards, and system enhancements. The candidate will drive adoption of best practices across payroll operations, system utilization, compliance, and data management while ensuring payroll systems remain aligned with evolving business needs.
The role requires ownership of the SAP Employee Central Payroll application landscape, ensuring system stability, performance, availability, and operational excellence. The candidate will serve as the highest business escalation point for complex payroll issues, integration challenges, and system-related incidents while leading root-cause analysis and resolution activities.
The Senior Associate HRIS will provide expert-level support and guidance on payroll schemas, Payroll Control Center (PCC), Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs), wage type configuration, payroll posting processes, finance integrations, retroactive payroll processing, time integration, and benefits administration. The role includes overseeing solution design, configuration governance, technical specifications, and functional design validation to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
Responsibilities also include ensuring seamless integration between SAP Employee Central Payroll, Employee Central, time management systems, and third-party applications. The candidate will drive data quality, audit readiness, system governance, interface management, reconciliation processes, and payroll data integrity across multiple countries and business units.
The role will lead enhancement initiatives, release management activities, payroll transformation projects, cloud HR initiatives, and continuous improvement programs. The candidate will identify opportunities for automation, operational efficiency, process optimization, and user experience enhancements while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate should possess extensive expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll, SAP HCM Payroll, Payroll Control Center, payroll configuration, integrations, APIs, SAP Integration Suite, payroll architecture, and multi-country payroll environments. Strong experience in application support leadership, incident management, change management, payroll transformation programs, and service management frameworks such as ITIL is highly desirable.
Candidates should demonstrate strong executive stakeholder management capabilities, excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, mentoring abilities, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to business stakeholders. Experience with Employee Central, Time Management solutions, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Jira, DevOps tools, and digital transformation initiatives will be considered advantageous.
