The Principal Talent Acquisition Partner plays a critical role in enabling business growth by leading end-to-end recruitment for complex, senior, and niche roles across India. The role is responsible for managing the complete recruitment lifecycle for executive and senior-level positions across multiple business functions. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements, team structures, and organizational objectives while developing strategic sourcing plans to attract high-quality talent.
The role requires leading complex recruitment searches through proactive sourcing, market mapping, direct search, and targeted talent engagement strategies. The successful candidate will ensure timely hiring while maintaining high standards of recruitment quality, compliance, diversity, and candidate experience.
The Principal Talent Acquisition Partner will serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and leadership teams by providing data-driven insights into talent availability, market trends, compensation benchmarks, hiring risks, and workforce planning. The role also requires influencing hiring decisions, managing stakeholder expectations, and maintaining proactive communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
The position involves building and maintaining strong talent pipelines to support current and future business requirements while developing deep knowledge of the India talent market, competitor hiring activities, and emerging capability trends. The candidate will leverage AECOM's employer brand, employee value proposition, and multiple sourcing channels to attract highly qualified professionals.
The selected professional will partner with HR, Compensation, and Onboarding teams to ensure a seamless hiring experience. Responsibilities also include contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing recruitment tools and processes, maintaining accurate recruitment data within ATS systems, and supporting operational excellence across talent acquisition.
Candidates should possess 8 to 12 or more years of end-to-end recruitment experience, preferably within engineering, consulting, technology, or professional services organizations. Strong experience in hiring senior and niche talent, stakeholder management, strategic sourcing, direct search, and recruitment delivery is essential. A Bachelor's degree is required, while qualifications in HR, Business, or related disciplines are preferred.
