Job Description
Sonatype is hiring a Director Global People Operations and Total Rewards for its Hyderabad office. Sonatype is a global software supply chain security company that provides enterprise solutions for software supply chain management, open source dependency management and software security. The Director will lead the global People Operations function by designing, building and governing scalable HR operations, People systems, Total Rewards and HR technology while enabling organizational growth and operational excellence. The role will be responsible for leading the global People Operations strategy, standardizing HR processes, driving automation and AI enabled HR operations, implementing scalable self service capabilities, reducing manual work through process redesign, and supporting organizational transformation and global expansion. The selected candidate will lead People Systems, HRIS strategy, analytics, workflow design, systems optimization, data governance, reporting, HR technology architecture and enterprise HR operational infrastructure. The role also includes serving as the organization's primary compensation subject matter expert by designing and managing global compensation frameworks, job architecture, salary structures, market benchmarking, compensation planning, promotions, merit cycles, Total Rewards strategy, benefits administration and workforce planning. Additional responsibilities include overseeing global payroll, employee lifecycle operations, compliance, vendor management, HR service delivery, operational governance and leading global teams across People Operations, Systems, Analytics and Total Rewards. Candidates should have extensive experience leading global People Operations, Total Rewards, HR Systems and HR technology in complex multinational environments, deep expertise in compensation strategy, HRIS optimization, workflow automation, AI enablement, payroll, benefits, HR analytics, organizational scalability, stakeholder management and enterprise transformation.
