The L&D Specialist β HR Enablement - Talent role is responsible for delivering strategic people insights, advanced analytics and data-driven recommendations to support Talent and HR decision-making across EY. The position combines strong technical expertise in analytics and the digital landscape with effective stakeholder partnership. The role supports workforce planning, performance insights and digital enablement aligned with EYβs talent strategy.
About Global Delivery Services
Global Delivery Services refers to EYβs worldwide network of service delivery centres. The GDS team plays an important role in EYβs strategy by providing effective support to the organizationβs growth agenda.
The GDS journey began in 2002 with approximately 200 people and has grown to more than 80,000 professionals across ten locations worldwide. The network operates in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, the Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Client service teams provide Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy and Transactions, and Knowledge support to clients around the world. These teams enable EY account teams worldwide to deliver seamless, high-quality and value-added support while helping provide exceptional client service.
Enablement Services provides cost-effective, highly skilled and innovative services to support EYβs global and local enablement teams. Services include Markets, Brand, Marketing and Communications, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services.
EYβs innovation specialists support the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings together suitable environments, technologies and skilled professionals for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. Its competencies include analytics, digital solutions, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.
Job Purpose and Role Summary
The professional will deliver workforce analytics, leadership-ready reporting and strategic people insights that enable informed Talent and HR decisions. The role requires collaboration with senior leadership, Global Talent Centres of Excellence, executive stakeholders, HR Services teams, analytics teams and technical development teams.
Strategic Analytics and Business Partnership
Partner with senior leadership and Global Talent Centres of Excellence to understand strategic priorities and translate them into analytics requirements and actionable insights.
Provide workforce analytics, reports and insights to support organizational planning, forecasting and decision-making.
Identify emerging trends, potential risks and opportunities within people data and present relevant recommendations to leadership.
Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong working relationships with executive stakeholders, Global Talent teams and HR Services teams.
Manage stakeholder expectations, delivery priorities and project timelines effectively.
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on talent analytics, workforce insights and data-driven decision-making.
Reporting, Dashboards and Data Enablement
Design, develop and optimize leadership-ready dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence tools.
Work with diverse data sources, including HR and talent platforms, to create scalable analytics solutions.
Enable analytics through Data Lake and Data Mart architectures while maintaining data quality and governance standards.
Digital and Technical Enablement
Collaborate with Analytics and Technical Development teams to support digital interventions and platform enhancements across the Talent Development ecosystem.
Support the integration of workforce data from systems such as People Insights, SuccessFactors, Taleo and other HR applications.
Ensure that analytics activities comply with applicable data privacy, information security and legal requirements.
People and Delivery Management
Lead and develop a small analytics team with a strong focus on coaching and capability development.
Plan and manage analytics initiatives using effective program and project management practices.
Align team capacity, capabilities and skills with changing business priorities and delivery requirements.
Technical and Analytics Skills
Candidates should possess strong experience in HR Analytics, People Analytics and advanced data analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Power BI is mandatory, including practical knowledge of DAX expressions.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power Apps and Microsoft PowerPoint for leadership-level presentations is required.
Applicants should have hands-on experience working with Data Lake and Data Mart architectures.
HR Domain Knowledge
Candidates should have a strong understanding of HR processes, talent practices and workforce metrics.
Applicants should have experience working with metrics related to coverage, trends, business impact, participation, completion, quality, individual learning progress, learning hours, badges and credits.
Familiarity with HR systems such as PeopleSoft or SuccessFactors is required.
Professional and Leadership Skills
The role requires strong client-facing and communication abilities with the capability to explain complex analytics in a clear and understandable manner.
Candidates should have proven experience in people management and stakeholder management.
Strong planning, prioritization, program management and delivery management skills are required.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a bachelorβs or masterβs degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Decision Science, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics or a related field.
Applicants should have 7 to 9 years of experience in People Analytics, reporting and advanced analytics delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of software development practices, Agile methodologies and Scrum ways of working will be preferred.
Exposure to large-scale HR or Talent Analytics transformation initiatives will be an advantage.
Competencies and Behavioural Expectations
The selected professional should demonstrate independent judgment, accountability and ownership.
The candidate should act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and work collaboratively across global and cross-functional teams.
The role requires a strong mindset toward continuous learning, upskilling and reskilling.
The professional is expected to operate with integrity, accountability and professional rigor.
