Role Purpose
This is a broad and varied Group HR role that acts as a key connection between Group functions, managers and employees based across the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, and South Asia.
The Group People Partner will provide hands-on, day-to-day HR advice, guidance and coordination across the employee lifecycle. The role will ensure that people matters are managed consistently, professionally and in accordance with Group policies, employment law and recognised best practices.
Alongside daily HR delivery, the position will support Group HR projects and strategic people initiatives. The postholder will help translate plans into practical and effectively managed actions.
This is a hands-on generalist role suitable for an HR professional who can manage the details of daily HR operations while contributing to projects that shape how Group HR supports the business globally.
What You Will Be Doing
The Group People Partner will deliver a combination of HR Business Partnering support and hands-on HR coordination and administrative activities to the Menzies Aviation Group team. The role will ensure the efficient execution of HR processes while providing high-quality professional advice.
The postholder will provide practical and professional HR advice to Menzies Aviation Group team members across all stages of the employee lifecycle. This advice should support fair, consistent and compliant outcomes.
The role will act as a key point of contact for Group employees and managers on employee relations matters. These matters will include performance management, disciplinary cases, grievances, absence management, redundancy and employee welfare cases.
The Group People Partner will support and guide managers through HR processes while ensuring the correct application of Group policies and procedures. More complex matters will be escalated when required.
The role will advise on and support the delivery of people-related change activities. The postholder will work alongside senior HR colleagues and functional leaders to ensure that changes are implemented effectively and sensitively.
The position will support performance and talent processes by providing guidance on processes, policies and recognised HR best practices.

What We Are Looking For
The company is looking for an experienced HR professional, ideally with a relevant professional qualification and strong advisory experience in a generalist HR role.
Experience in an HR position that combines Business Partnering support with a high volume of HR coordination and administrative activity is essential.
Candidates should have experience operating effectively within a complex, fast-paced and global matrix organisation.
The candidate must possess sound and current knowledge of employment law practices. The role requires the ability to apply an understanding of employment law to other jurisdictions.
Proven experience in advising on employee relations cases in a fair, structured and commercially balanced manner is required.
The role requires strong attention to detail and a process-driven and methodical approach to HR work.
