The HR Associate Partner role provides support to the management team by handling administrative activities, HR operations and regular workforce support tasks. The role involves maintaining employee records, supporting attendance management, resolving HR system-related issues and ensuring accurate execution of HR processes.
The HR Associate Partner will work closely with managers, associates and Human Resources teams to manage attendance corrections, time-off processes, employee documentation, counseling records and operational reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Support attendance management processes by clearing system flags and assessing attendance points for associates with unexcused absences.
Collect and organize time-off request forms from managers and associates and ensure required approvals are completed.
Ensure accurate coding of paid and unpaid time categories including Vacation, Paid Personal Time, Voluntary Time Off and Lack of Work.
Process attendance and time corrections for staffing agency associates as directed by Amazon HR.
Process attendance corrections for Amazon associates based on guidance from site leaders or Human Resources.
Identify, track and reconcile missing attendance records including in punches, out punches and lunch punches.
Resolve discrepancies related to Time Off Task flags with appropriate manager approvals.
Enter orientation time records for staffing agency new hires.
Maintain corrective action documentation in Amazon GAPS system.
Research associate counseling history to support managers in determining appropriate counseling levels, previous counseling details and performance history.
Submit counseling documentation for Amazon and staffing agency associates while tracking approvals and ensuring completion.
Organize attendance counseling documents and provide complete documentation sets to managers.
Print and display performance rates throughout shifts as required.
Respond to associate queries related to attendance points, vacation balances and personal time balances.
Escalate discrepancies to HR teams and support resolution.
Additional Responsibilities:
Support safety and dock audits.
Assist managers with production reports, operational reports and reporting projects.
Update and maintain HR and operational dashboards as required.
Support various HR and business improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
6+ months of experience in Human Resources.
6+ months of customer service experience.
6+ months of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
Experience working in confidential environments.
Bachelorβs degree or equivalent qualification.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of Human Resources experience.
1+ years of customer service experience.
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
