The Talent Lead will be an expert in Talent Acquisition, responsible for delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience while partnering closely with the business to attract and secure high-quality talent. The role will focus predominantly on permanent recruitment across multiple disciplines while also managing contract requirements, talent pipelines, sourcing strategies, stakeholder relationships, recruitment projects, and market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage talent pipelines, ensuring delivery across all permanent and contract recruitment requirements.
Take ownership of recruitment requirements and ensure positions are delivered according to business needs and agreed timelines.
Drive best recruitment practices within the business by supporting operational leadership with advice and guidance, training and development, interview frameworks, recruitment tools, and sourcing tactics.
Develop and implement effective selection strategies to meet current and future business requirements, including online and offline sourcing methodologies and relevant employment considerations.
Use internal and external networks to maintain a strong presence within the industry through networking events, local meetups, developer events, and other relevant departmental activities.
Support the business reputation strategy, including online presence and employer rating platforms such as Glassdoor, company websites, and LinkedIn.
Conduct market and competitor analysis, salary and talent benchmarking, and other research to support recruitment strategy.
Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment suppliers to source candidates according to internal recruitment requirements and agreed service targets.
Prepare comprehensive recruitment statistics and reports to demonstrate service performance and hiring outcomes.
Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, including workforce forecasting, role evaluation, benchmarking, job specification creation, advertising, sourcing, interviewing, selection, offer management, and reporting.
Build and maintain talent pools of pre-screened candidates for current and future business requirements.
Deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Create and deliver recruitment-focused projects by conducting self-initiated research and identifying opportunities to improve recruitment effectiveness.
Act as a subject matter expert on resourcing matters and provide advice and guidance to business leaders on best-practice recruitment strategies.
What We Want From You:
Proven experience in IT and Technology recruitment, preferably in an in-house environment, although RPO and agency recruitment experience will also be considered.
Experience working across multiple disciplines and managing multiple stakeholders across different countries.
Demonstrated ability to manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for a broad range of technical and digital positions across different stages of the project lifecycle.
Experience working in a fast-paced recruitment environment with the ability to take initiative and operate with limited direction.
Excellent working knowledge of Boolean search techniques, with X-Ray search knowledge being desirable.
Working knowledge of popular job boards and social media platforms, including LinkedIn.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills across different levels of the organization.
Highly developed executive search capabilities, including talent attraction and selection.
Ability to work with hiring managers to create and maintain formal job descriptions.
Strong awareness of recruitment trends and innovative sourcing and hiring techniques, with the ability to apply creative approaches to remain competitive in the talent market.
Ability to maintain accurate and well-organized documentation covering candidates, searches, recruitment activity, and reporting.
Experience working with an ATS is desirable, ideally Greenhouse.
Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong interest in the digital and technology environment, with the ability to understand and engage effectively with technical stakeholders and technology professionals.
