The Amazon Last Mile Learning team is seeking a Training Specialist to support operations training for the Last Mile vertical. Overall responsibilities include boosting employee competencies by developing and conducting effective training programs. The person will indirectly help enhance employees' workplace performance in conjunction with the company's core values to meet organizational goals. This role requires travel based on business requirements. The Trainer should listen to associates and be supportive of managers, answer requests and respond to people, lead by example, be approachable, exhibit the best behavior at work, remain up to date with the latest techniques, tools, and processes, demonstrate honesty and willingness to accept mistakes, push personal limits, accept additional responsibilities, drive quality and learning-related metrics, and conduct Chime sessions and classroom training sessions for stakeholders. Job responsibilities include supervising structured learning metrics and overseeing results for the assigned territory and region, managing live performance metrics end to end for the assigned territory, conducting learning sessions on new processes as well as BQM through ITL or digital learning according to requirements, and delivering various training courses as part of continuous learning. The Training Specialist will maintain data and analysis through Excel reports according to business requirements, ensure timely completion of new hire training programs, coaching, and other performance improvement programs, partner with operations leaders while conducting station audits to check process compliance and immediately address gaps, identify and certify learning coaches, and lead individual improvement projects to enhance business performance. The role also involves driving Quality and Learning metrics and conducting Chime sessions and classroom sessions for stakeholders. On a day-to-day basis, the Training Specialist will track business metrics, plan visits to mapped stations for metric improvement, manage daily reporting and progress updates, and actively engage with mapped LA and LG teams for daily learning and development activities. The role requires travel according to business requirements. Basic qualifications include experience with written and verbal communication and presentations and experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. The preferred qualification is 5+ years of proven experience as a Training Specialist or Trainer in a similar role.
