This HR Generalist / Assistant role reports into the HR Business Partner supporting the Commercial business and provides operational and administrative HR support across multiple HR functions. The role enables effective execution of HR strategies by handling documentation, employee relations support, HR queries, and coordination of HR programs. Key responsibilities include preparing HR documentation, reports, and presentations for HRBP-led meetings and strategic initiatives. The role supports employee relations cases, policy interpretation, compliance matters, and assists in investigations and disciplinary processes under guidance. It involves handling employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures while ensuring proper escalation where required. The role supports HR programs such as performance management cycles, engagement surveys, learning and development activities, townhalls, talent reviews, and salary review processes in collaboration with HR specialist teams. The position also focuses on employee engagement by maintaining visibility in the workplace, acting as a first point of contact for employees, supporting morale, and reinforcing organizational culture and values. Additional responsibilities include cross-functional coordination with Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, and Internal Communications teams to ensure smooth execution of HR processes. The role requires strong ownership in delivering HR projects, improving processes, and enhancing employee experience through continuous improvement initiatives. Candidate must have HR-related qualification (MBA preferred but not mandatory) with 8β10 years of HR Generalist or HR support experience in a matrix or fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and employee relations is required. Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management ability, adaptability, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are essential.
