Job Description
Cantor Fitzgerald is hiring a Senior Payroll Analyst for its Hyderabad location. The role is responsible for managing and executing payroll operations for a workforce of 1,000+ employees across multiple states while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payroll processing. The position is ideal for payroll professionals experienced in handling large-scale, multi-state payroll environments and payroll compliance requirements.
Key responsibilities include processing weekly, biweekly, and semi-monthly payrolls, importing hours from time and production systems, calculating gross pay, deductions, withholdings, and net pay, distributing payroll reports, auditing HRIS and payroll system data, and supporting periodic and annual payroll audits such as BLS, MWR, and Workers Compensation audits. The role also involves processing new hire and termination payroll transactions, validating direct deposits, deductions and withholdings, resolving payroll issues in coordination with HR teams, supporting special payroll runs, preparing payroll-related general ledger entries, and managing payroll tax audits, unions, garnishments, taxes, and banking relationships.
The ideal candidate should possess strong payroll processing expertise, advanced Excel skills, knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations, union payroll processing, payroll audit management, and payroll systems. Experience with Oracle, Workday, or similar cloud-based payroll platforms is preferred. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
