Job Description
Poddar Diamonds is looking for a Sr. Associate – Human Resources to manage end-to-end HR operations and support talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, and compliance activities. The position is based in Lower Parel, Mumbai and requires a proactive HR professional who can work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
The selected candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end recruitment activities including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, managing job listings across platforms like LinkedIn, Naukri, and referral networks, coordinating interview logistics, maintaining hiring trackers, and reporting recruitment metrics such as turnaround time and source effectiveness.
The role also includes managing HR operations and compliance activities such as onboarding and offboarding processes, employee documentation, system setup, exit formalities, maintaining employee records and HRMS data, tracking attendance, leave, and shift records, coordinating payroll inputs with the accounts team, and supporting updates to HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.
The candidate will support Learning and Development initiatives by identifying training needs, coordinating induction and functional training sessions, tracking training attendance, collecting feedback scores, and coordinating with external vendors for specialized training programs.
The role also involves planning and executing employee engagement initiatives including Fun Fridays, team outings, milestone celebrations, pulse surveys, and eNPS activities. The candidate will act as a first point of contact for employee queries and help build a positive workplace culture.
The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role with strong exposure to recruitment coordination and sourcing. The candidate should have a basic understanding of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance, good communication skills, interpersonal abilities, ownership mindset, and willingness to learn and grow.
