Live Nation Entertainment is hiring a Director, Human Resources for its Ticketmaster division based in Gurugram, Haryana. This permanent leadership position reports to the Vice President, Human Resources and is responsible for leading the HR Business Partner function while driving people strategy, organizational capability and business success across the assigned client groups in India. The HR Director will partner closely with senior business leaders to build high-performing teams, solve complex organizational challenges and implement long-term people strategies aligned with Ticketmaster's mission, culture and business objectives.
The role includes leading talent management initiatives such as workforce planning, organization design, leadership development, employee engagement, succession planning, onboarding strategy, retention planning, learning and development, career development, talent assessment, job leveling and ownership of people data. The Director will collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development and senior leadership to forecast hiring needs, improve organizational effectiveness and support strategic workforce decisions.
The position will oversee HR partnerships across performance management, compensation reviews, employee surveys, employee experience, job analysis, policy development, HR systems and Workday adoption. The successful candidate will partner with Equity teams to support inclusion initiatives and help define HR metrics that guide evidence-based decision making across the business.
A significant responsibility of the role includes managing complex employee relations matters, conducting investigations, ensuring compliance with Indian employment legislation, overseeing performance improvement plans, supporting complex terminations and advising leaders on labor laws and regulatory requirements. The HR Director will also serve as the primary HR advisor for assigned business units by providing guidance on people policies, organizational design, HR services and strategic workforce initiatives.
The role requires leading and mentoring HR Business Partners and other HR professionals by managing day-to-day HR operations, coaching team members, supporting performance management, driving consistency across HR practices and contributing to the overall HR strategy. The Director will actively participate in shaping HR strategy, gathering business feedback and recommending improvements to people programs and organizational initiatives.
Candidates should possess extensive HR leadership experience within large multinational organizations, proven experience as a senior HR Business Partner, expertise in Talent Management and Employee Relations, experience leading HR teams, strong knowledge of Indian employment laws and excellent English communication skills. Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word is highly desirable. The ideal candidate should demonstrate leadership, adaptability, integrity, relationship management, problem-solving, teamwork and the ability to manage large teams across multiple regions and time zones.
