Job Description
Safeguard Global is hiring a Payroll Coordinator – Australia Payroll for a remote position in India. The role involves managing the complete lifecycle of employee payroll for Australian workers, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing while working closely with internal teams, external providers, and clients. Responsibilities include managing end-to-end Australian payroll after employee onboarding, maintaining payroll policies and compliance with Australian payroll legislation, reviewing and approving payroll reports, investigating payroll discrepancies, maintaining payroll schedules, KPI reporting, processing timely payroll payments, updating employee records, responding to worker queries, managing funding and billing processes, generating sales invoices, maintaining employment documentation, handling employment contract changes including salary and benefits updates, supporting employee lifecycle activities, managing compliant employee offboarding, coordinating voluntary and involuntary terminations, ensuring background verification completion, and providing exceptional client and employee support. Candidates should have 2–3 years of experience in Australian payroll, strong knowledge of payroll concepts and local payroll legislation, excellent communication skills in English, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
