The Digital and Technology team is dedicated to exploring the latest trends and innovations in technology while leading the adoption of cutting-edge technologies across the organization. The team collaborates closely with global business teams to understand business models and identify opportunities to leverage technology for increased efficiency and transformation. This role will be responsible for configuring and supporting Workday HCM and other HR systems and processes that enhance user experience, support HR process and technology efforts and deliver value to the global workforce. The role requires high proficiency in system knowledge and configuration, problem solving, process and data analysis, and communication skills. The selected candidate will work collaboratively across teams to provide recommendations on aligning technical solutions with business opportunities. Key responsibilities include serving as the lead analyst and subject matter expert for Workday HCM processes, data and technology initiatives, configuring and supporting Workday HCM including business processes, security, EIBs, reporting and related functionality, and acting as Lead Analyst for global HR system process, data and technology projects. The role will provide day-to-day operational support for HR systems and ensure system health and sustainability. The candidate will use Workday HCM functional expertise to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions involving business process configuration, complex calculated fields, integrations and EIBs. The role will act as Lead Consultant for global HR systems, data and processes by identifying and articulating process impacts on technology and data and potential constraints. The candidate will partner with the business to define functional requirements including data, configuration and integration needs and translate them into recommendations and technical specifications. The role will work with business teams to understand pain points, prioritize requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiency by leveraging existing and new functionality. The candidate will successfully deliver prioritized initiatives through discovery, planning, implementation, testing and stabilization. Responsibilities also include quality assurance, creation of test scripts, testing execution and ensuring user acceptance for system solutions, developing technical documentation supporting system or process changes, communicating system or process changes to users with varying levels of technical knowledge, and staying current on Workday innovations to recommend best-practice solutions. Candidates should have 8 to 10 years of experience supporting or developing complex Workday HCM solutions, credible experience configuring, providing solutions and supporting Workday HCM Core, and experience working on a project team for a complex global system implementation. Experience configuring, solutioning and supporting Cornerstone, iCIMS and/or Workday HCM is required. Candidates should be able to work with contractors and third-party vendors to ensure quality results on projects and enhancements, gather and translate business requirements into specifications, analyze, design, configure and support data, processes and technology, and support stabilization and ongoing production support of technical solutions. The role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and activities, prioritize appropriately, communicate effectively with technical and business partners at all levels, work independently and collaboratively, and operate effectively in a global company. Preferred capabilities include excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively with ambiguity, high learning agility, the ability to define business requirements and collaborate across global teams, strong problem-solving capabilities, a process improvement and client service mindset, experience working with global cross-functional project teams, the ability to translate complex business analysis into actionable recommendations through implementation, and the ability to train, guide and mentor others. The candidate should be results-oriented, demonstrate high integrity and sound judgment when handling confidential information, think proactively, manage multiple priorities and have a strong passion for improving business systems and processes. Expert-level knowledge is required in Core HCM, Business Process Configuration, EIBs, Security, Calculated Fields and Advanced Reports.
