A respected, mission-led non-profit organization working to drive sustainable social impact across multiple geographies in India is seeking a Director – People & Culture. The role reports to the CEO and leads the organisation's people function across a distributed, field-driven operating model. Key responsibilities include defining and driving the people strategy aligned with long-term growth plans; partnering with senior leadership on organisational design, workforce planning, and structural alignment; leading performance management frameworks, succession planning, and leadership development; overseeing talent acquisition across leadership, technical, and field roles; strengthening employer positioning in the social impact sector; ensuring robust HR systems, HRIS-enabled processes, statutory compliance, and end-to-end employee lifecycle management; and championing a values-driven, inclusive culture with strong employee engagement and relations practices including POSH compliance.
