Job Description
A reputed Freight Forwarding multinational company is hiring a Head HR for its corporate office in Mumbai. The role is responsible for leading the complete Human Resources function and partnering with business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee engagement, compliance, and HR transformation initiatives. The selected candidate will play a strategic role in supporting business growth while ensuring efficient HR operations and a positive workplace culture.
The Head HR will lead and supervise end-to-end recruitment activities including job specification preparation, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection. The role involves advising business departments throughout the recruitment lifecycle, developing and maintaining a strong talent pipeline through headhunting, online platforms, networking, referrals, and internal databases, managing employee onboarding, orientation, and personnel documentation in collaboration with Learning and Development teams and line managers, acting as a strategic HR partner for organizational change management and business optimization initiatives, implementing and monitoring HR policies, systems, processes, and culture improvement projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and Bangladesh Labour Law, preparing HR policies, procedures, reports, and analytics for management, managing attendance, leave, employee movement, employee well-being, workplace safety, counselling, exit management, conducting visits to stores, warehouses, and distribution centres to resolve HR issues, leading employee engagement initiatives, job satisfaction surveys, salary surveys, retention improvement plans, promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives, strengthening employer branding and internal communication, supervising annual increments, promotions, payroll coordination, HRMS updates, and employee development initiatives.
