Job Description
Altera is hiring a Semiconductor Full Life Cycle Recruiter for its Bengaluru location. The role is focused on attracting, engaging, and hiring top-tier technical talent to support the company's expanding FPGA business. The selected candidate will work closely with hiring managers across EMEA and India regions to develop strategic hiring plans and deliver an excellent candidate experience.
The role requires strong FPGA industry knowledge and experience in recruiting for specialized semiconductor and technical roles. The candidate will collaborate with hiring managers to understand business objectives, workforce requirements, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Key responsibilities include creating and refining job descriptions for highly specialized FPGA-related roles, proactively sourcing candidates through multiple channels including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, industry events, and employee referrals.
The selected candidate will manage the complete recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding. The role requires driving efficient hiring decisions while maintaining high-quality recruitment standards.
The candidate will ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process and act as a brand ambassador by representing the company's culture and values.
Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate candidate records in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), tracking recruitment metrics, analysing hiring data, and improving recruitment strategies. The role involves supporting employer branding initiatives, coordinating recruitment events, job fairs, and industry meetups.
The candidate will ensure recruitment activities comply with employment laws and internal policies while continuously identifying opportunities to improve recruitment processes and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate should have proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably within semiconductor, FPGA, or related technical domains. Experience supporting EMEA markets, strong understanding of FPGA technologies, engineering roles, and technical talent landscapes is required.
Strong sourcing skills for niche technical talent, stakeholder management, communication, negotiation abilities, familiarity with ATS platforms, and recruitment tools are required. The candidate should be able to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously and work with EMEA time zone overlap to support regional stakeholders and candidates.
This is a Contract Employee (Fixed Term) opportunity with Shift 1 (India) based in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
