NationsBenefits is leading the transformation of the insurance industry by developing innovative benefits management solutions, modernizing complex back-office systems into scalable, secure, cloud-native architectures that support high performance for core insurance operations. The organization is seeking an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented Benefits & Leave Coordinator to join its office in Hyderabad on a full-time basis. The coordinator will take primary operational ownership of the company's employee leave of absence and benefits administration programs, collaborating closely with the Benefits Director, Payroll teams, HR departments, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators. Key responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for employee leave inquiries and administering comprehensive leave frameworks such as Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations, Personal Leave of Absence (PLOA), Military Leave, Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), and state-specific leave mandates. The role involves coordinating leave processes with administrators such as Lincoln Financial, tracking certification deadlines, processing return-to-work approvals, preparing official communications, and maintaining secure and confidential leave records. In the area of benefits billing and payroll administration, the coordinator will perform monthly invoice reconciliations against carrier enrollment lists, audit payroll benefit deductions, identify and correct billing discrepancies, track employee arrears, design repayment schedules, and coordinate retroactive premium adjustments with payroll. The position also supports routine employee benefit inquiries covering medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA, FSA, COBRA, EAP, and 401(k) plans, while executing new hire enrollments, qualifying life event updates, carrier portal registrations, and annual Open Enrollment drives within the HRIS. Additionally, the coordinator will act as a backup to HR Business Partners for Workers' Compensation coordination, monitoring concurrent leaves and payroll deductions.
