The Associate Professor of Human Resource Management will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, seminars, and tutorials at postgraduate and undergraduate levels, with an emphasis on contemporary Human Resource Management practices and research. The role involves designing and updating curricula, developing course materials, and aligning teaching content with industry trends and academic standards.
The Associate Professor will supervise student projects and dissertations, mentor learners, and contribute to their overall academic and professional development. Responsibilities also include conducting and publishing research in reputable journals, participating in academic committees, contributing to accreditation processes, and engaging with industry partners for collaborations, internships, and guest lectures.
The position requires advanced academic qualifications in Human Resource Management or a closely related discipline, preferably a PhD, along with a strong record of teaching and research in HRM. Expertise in core HR domains such as talent management, organizational behavior, strategic HRM, performance management, and labor laws is required.
Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and the use of modern pedagogical methods and educational technologies is preferred. Candidates should have proven research capabilities including peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and participation in funded research projects.
Strong communication, presentation, and academic writing skills are required, along with the ability to engage diverse learners and foster an inclusive classroom environment. Experience in industry collaboration, consulting, or executive education in HRM is preferred, with the ability to integrate practical industry insights into teaching.
The candidate should demonstrate commitment to student mentoring, academic integrity, and institutional values and should be able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary faculty team. Prior experience at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent is required along with eligibility as per relevant regulatory and accreditation norms.
This is a full-time, on-site role based at Amity University’s Hyderabad campus. The position requires active participation in departmental activities, faculty meetings, academic committees, and university initiatives.
